This track, “If I Said,” was inspired by Shola Ama’s “Imagine”, a song that’s always stood out to me for its emotion and timeless UK garage feel. I started by drawing on that same sense of warmth and vulnerability, shaping the lyrics first before building the production around them.

Sonically, I leaned into a nostalgic UK garage / Y2K influence, blending smooth, emotive elements with more rhythmic, dance-driven energy to let the track evolve naturally while still keeping that emotional core intact.
